I followed the river near my house today, and found myself under the motorway bridge. Despite the masses of traffic that were passing overhead, it was surprisingly quiet.

Resized, cropped, and framed using GIMP.

That's the strange thing about bridges isn't it? Up there it can gets so noisy but under it, it usually is real quiet. Well, unless under the bridge is another expressway anyway.

A nice shot but what's great about this is that it's got such a calming & peaceful mood & feel to it. Great job!

It was an eerie quiet, because as you stepped out either side, the noise quickly came back. It was like I'd stepped into a bubble for a few moments.
